Prince Opoku Agyemang to wear No.9 for Cape Town City FC
The former Medeama SC striker completed his transfer to the South African side on Thursday, October, 22. Agyemang signed a one-year deal with the club with the option to extend to June 2024. Prince Opoku Agyemang scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 14 games for Medeama SC in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
GFA announces deadline for Transfer Matching System
Clubs are entreated to note that they have till the deadline to conclude the transfer of players from other football federations using the TMS. According to the GFA, clubs are to use the Domestic Transfer Matching System to transfer their local players before the deadline. Whereas Player registrations are done through the FIFA Connect, the transfer of players domestically and transfer agreements will be done through the DTMS. The Ghana Premier League is set to start on November 14, 2020, with the Division one and Women Premier League scheduled for December and January 2021 respectively.
Freight forwarders, others taken through new ICUMS update at refresher training
The training which kick started on Monday October 19, 2020 at the Tamale collection of the Customs Division of GRA office is to cover all regimes within customs and after the Northern part of Ghana will be taken to all other customs collections and Freight forwarders operational areas in Ghana. The Chairman of the ICUMS implementation team and also the Sector Commander of James Town Collections of Customs Division of GRA, AC Emmanuel Ohene, who spoke to the media disclosed that, the refresher training has become necessary to help update and also bring users of the ICUMS up to speed with new developments in the system.

Trade Ministry signs framework for grant disbursement with AfCFTA Secretariat
The conference which was held on the theme "Empowering Ghanaian Businesses to harness the benefits of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement under the framework of the National Export Development Strategy" was organised by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority and the National AfCFTA Coordination Office, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission. Mr Kyerematen touched on the comprehensive scope of AfCFTA, namely its four key Components - The Framework Agreement which establishes the African Continental Free Trade Area; the Protocol on Trade in Goods; the Protocol on Trade in Services; and the Protocol on Rules and Procedures for Settlement of Disputes.
GFA to start coronavirus testing of Ghana Premier League clubs today
"The testing of players, coaching staff and officials of the 18 Premier League clubs will begin on Thursday, October 22, 2020," a statement on the FA website read. "This is part of preparations towards the 2020/2021 football season that is expected to commence on November 13, 2020. The first club to undergo the tests is Dawu based Dreams FC.". Election 2020: There can't be rigging; stop disturbing EC!

Peter Boamah Otukonor is reportedly said to have contended the position of his party's candidate, John Dramani Mahama saying it goes to prove that there is a collusion between the EC and the government to rig the election in favour of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who is number 1 on the ballot paper.

Leicester City boss Rodgers explains Daniel Amartey's exclusion from Europa League squad
"Daniel was purely [excluded] because of injury. He's going to be out for a long period," Leicester coach Brendan Rodgers said, Leicester Mercury, has reported. Amartey could join Leicester's Europa League roster in January should he regain fitness and the club progress to the knock-out stage of the competition.
