Edmund Addo set to play his first UCL game for FC Sheriff
Addo started six of the Championship league qualification games in which Sheriff FC defeated the likes of Red Star Belgrade and Dinamo Zagreb to progress to the competition's group stage. This will be the first time FC Sheriff will be competing at this stage of Europe's illustrious club competition. Edmund Addo helped Sheriff to record a 2-0 over Baiti in the Moldova Divizia National league.
Don't blame GFA for govt's inability to pay CK Akonnor
Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association, Samuel Anim Addo, has said that the GFA cannot be blamed for coach Charles Akonnor's unpaid salaries. Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor and his two assistants, David Duncan, and Patrick Greveraars were on Monday, September 13, 2021, fired by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association. Some people including some sports pundits have cited the GFA's inability to pay Akonnor's salaries as one of the factors that made his job very difficult.

These came to light on Saturday when the MP for Ho Central, Mr Benjamin Kpodo visited the project site to see the standstill situation of the project at first hand. NDC asks party faithful to prepare to wrestle power from NPP in 2024

GFA explains Elizabeth Addo's omission from Black Queens squad ahead of Aisha Buhari tourney
The Djurgårdens IF forward was omitted from the Black Queens squad for the Aisha Buhari tournament after criticizing the GFA on the lack of friendly games for the team ahead of their 2022 AFCON qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Elizabeth Addo who was initially named in the squad for pre-tournament camping was dropped when the final list was released.
